This time I will get a space for my friends story with her candida overgrowth and other related disease. When she went to a new doctor back in October for the yeast and hormone problems, the doctor did blood work and found that she had very low cortisol levels and thyroid. Her previous doctor had her on Prempro and Wellbutrin for depression. She felt like the Prempro was causing the depression. This new doctor has put her on all natural compounded hormones, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and DHEA. She is also taking melatonin and 5htp at night.
