As you get used to the anti yeast infection diet, it gets a little easier, and remember that it is not forever. Take it one day at a time. A friend has been adding a few things back as the applied kinesiologist she went to 2 weeks ago told her to stay on the diet until their next appointment, which will make it 7 weeks on the Russ protocol. It has gotten to the point that carrots and some squashes taste very sweet to her. Read more..

This man I know sought out every different type of low carb diet from western to eastern. He also lived out west and has spent a lot of money on all sorts of treatments. It was after he quitted smoking and had gained some weight, he wanted to take the weight off, so that he cut out all carbs! It was an Atkins sort of thing, although he just intuitively knew to stop with all sugars and carbs. Read more..

A friend went on a candida cleansing diet for two weeks much like the Atkins diet for weight loss. At first, she thought she was going to die. No caffeine, sugar, bread, and only 20 grams of carbs daily. The first three days, she felt like she had the flu! This might have been due to die off effect, which now she still gets it, but her brain fog cleared in the fourth day. She could think again and wasnt emotional. She had more energy that week after the flu that she had since she was a kid. Read more..

All day long, this friend of mine has pains in her heart (heart palpitations), which is either a pressure feeling or a sore pressure type feeling. It usually rotates around different areas of the heart. So, when the doctors cant figure it out, they just say it is anxiety and they hand her the bottle of Xanax which doesnt do anything except makes her fall asleep. This is so aggravating for her and has been for quite awhile. Read more..

Has anyone here tried a candida supplement called Kolorex? The main ingredient is horopito extract, a plant native to New Zealand. It works in combination with anise seed extract. You take one capsule of each daily. It is all-natural and is reputed to be a good candida killer. I must admit I was quite impressed with the way it worked on me. In addition, a friend has just getting some die-off from it and might buy some more of it tomorrow to see if he gets any new die-off. Read more..

To continue the previous article, I was prescribed Norethisterone instead of iron for my iron deficiencies, which I didnt know then. After stopping it (although it was deliberately re-prescribed for me along side corticosteroids by a hospital consultant who is also a university tutor), the symptoms of swelling remained and I was afraid to remain sitting for long in case a thrombosis returned. I was told to “keep moving”, although it was never admitted that I had had a thrombosis. Read more..

I think it is a good idea to shop around when looking for anti candida protocols. Quite often, I find that it works out much cheaper to adapt a protocol that is out there by buying the same product from a health food store. There are a lot of people/companies out there who are just waiting to prey on candida sufferers! I thought it might be an idea to share my experiences of this. Read more..
