My Favorite Kale Pesto Recipe

If anyone is interested in raw vegetable candida recipes, I have a few. I am going to share you one of my favorites that I made tonight. This is one that I made up by combining some recipes. I called it Kale Pesto. This recipe can be made more traditionally using fresh basil (if allowed on your diet). I have also tried made it using spinach, parsley or cilantro.

Sometimes, I use a combination like spinach and parsley. Another option that I have done is using raw pumpkin seeds instead of sunflower seeds or with them. I use organic products and produce. In a mean while, I make a huge batch and then freeze in an ice cube tray, and then I put the cubes in a large plastic freezer bag and take them out as needed. This eliminates your worries about mold. It is great on steamed (broccoli) or raw vegetables. I am sure it would be yummy on fish or chicken as well.

Here is the recipe for my Kale Pesto.

Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of fresh Kale or other green (wash it well)
- About 1/2 – 1 cup of raw sunflower seeds (soaked before if you like)
- 3 – 6 cloves of garlic
- 3 tablespoons of Raw Tahini (this is optional)
- 1 – 1/2 juice of lemons

If by means your diet doesn’t allow lemons, perhaps you can just adding a touch of apple cider vinegar or grapefruit. I would taste with small amount first. I blend all the ingredients in food processor and then I stir in Olive Oil.
